The Fun Lovin’ Criminals may have encouraged you to “Smoke ’em, smoke ’em, smoke ’em if ya gottem” but they never had to set national policy on pulmonary disease nor indeed sit in a chest clinic and tell people in their 50’s they have incurable cancer. So smoking is bad (in case you missed my subtle meaning) and we have a responsibility to encourage our patients to kick the habit.  This is the first time that the second year students will have an opportunity to be taught by our colleagues from the smoking cessation service who are at the forefront of this particularly difficult aspect of respiratory medicine – an opportunity not to be missed. This Free Yourself training pack 21 is used in NHS Tayside to help get off the fags/tabs/sticks/smokes or what ever else you want to call them.

About DundeeChest 3.0
Born again, phoenix from the flames of DundeeChest and DundeeChest 2.0 comes DundeeChest 3.0. The idea was to provide the medical students of Dundee University Medical School with some support for their respiratory block. Now the students have DundeeChest 4.0 for all their undergraduate needs, and now DC 3.0 is a repository for all things post-graduate. The old undergraduate material is still hidden in here, if you want it.
