Week 1 ITA is now a session of computer based learning modules, and a number of small group teaching sessions. Essentially, we would like you to go through the materials before the session, and come along armed with questions to ask the tutors in the small group sessions.
The plan is to give access to the computer suite throughout the morning (9 – 11) so you can go through the material again, but also to run small group tutorial in the library teaching rooms at half hour intervals.
The small group sessions will run thus:
0900 – A1/B1/C1/D1
0930 – A2/B2/C2/D2
1000 – A3/B3/C3/D3
1030 – A4/B4/C4/D4
Dr Williamson will meet you all in the computer suite at 09:00. At that point he will allocate times to meet up again at the library teaching rooms.
Update: Friday 10 September: There’s been a problem uploading this week’s IT resource into Blackboard, we will try again over the weekend, and will definitely have it ready for 9am on Monday. In the meantime we have a pdf version which you can scan and read through ahead of time. You can’t interact with the animations in the pdf or play the video, but all the key text and illustrations are in the pdf which can downloaded here. The module does refer to some external sites including Get Body Smart and you can click here to access this. You are also asked to access some online Thoracic Interactive Exercises on another site.
