[…] Knowledge Base […]
A big thanks to Richard for updating the knowledge base whilst I wasn’t really paying much attention!
Chipping away, chipping away……
Do/When we get to know how to do a ABG?
I am assuming the practical procedures part is not for second year medics.
You can do one whenever you want. Go to AMU or ward 3, there’s usually ABGs to do every day.
You’ll also do some in clinical skills at some point.
Ok, now I’m confuse.
We will do ABG in Clinical Skills (in second year)? Then only we can go to ward 3 for that?
And just curious, we need to know how to do bronchoscopy and inserting chest drain before we graduate?
I don’t know when the clinical skills session on ABGs is – you could always ask clinical skills.
You can go to ward 3/AMU and be taught how to do one at any time.
